Registration

The registration fee covers coffee breaks, 1 lunch and 1 dinner on Friday (6 June), 1 lunch on Saturday (7 June), and a room for 1 night (including breakfast) at the Grand Hotel Salerno; city tax at € 3.00 per night per person is not included and must be paid at check out. The available packages are indicated below.

If, to benefit from the reduced rate, you plan to apply for membership, please remember that you must do so strictly before 21 April 2014. Applications for membership that reach the ABCD after that date will be normally processed, but you will not be able to benefit from the reduced fee for this meeting. Registration fee payments received after the deadline will be subject to a late payment charge of 30 EUR, which will be added to the total cost.

NB: The payment date is considered as the date in which payment is credited to our account (not when the payment procedure is initiated).

Payment

Upon registration, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you; this message contains, amongst other information, a reference code. Please do not process your payment without this reference code—thank you for your cooperation.

Payment is possible by credit card or bank transfer. Further details about the payment procedure is available through your personal mySCDRM2014 page.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations with a refund request must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat and must be accompanied by a valid justification. Refunds will be decided case by case by the organising secretariat. If accepted, cancellations within 6 May 2014 will be refunded fully, minus an administrative charge of 30 EUR; cancellations within 13 May 2014 will be refunded only by 50% of the total package price; no refunds will be provided after 13 may 2014.

Abstracts

Abstracts are accepted exclusively online either during registration or, after registration, through your personal mySCDRM2014 page (you will need to register to have access to the latter).

Only one abstract per participant is allowed. The abstract should be submitted by the presenting author only.

Abstracts guidelines:

• the title must start in uppercase and continue in lowercase, except for conventional terms (ATP, DNA, NFκB, etc). Example:
  This title is written correctly
  This Title is Not Properly Written
  ALSO THIS TITLE IS WRONG
• if more than one author, underline your name (the presenting author, in whatever position you appear in the author list) and use commas to separate the names; do not use 'and' before the last author. The presenting author's first name(s) and surname should be written in full; for all other authors, write first name(s) as initials and surname in full. If more than one affiliation, use sequential superscript numbers to identify each institution. Example:

• the abstract text must be no longer than 2000 characters, spaces included (which is roughly equivalent to 250 words).

The abstract submission deadline is 7 May 2014. The organisers will then review the received abstracts and select oral presentations.

Fellowship

The ABCD provides fellowships to help towards the meeting expenses of young ABCD members (under 35), junior or regular with 2014 ABCD membership paid. The request for this fellowship is made during the registration procedure. Please note that candidates will be evaluated only after payment of the registration fee.

Posters

The poster's maximum size is 100 x 120 cm (width x height).

Posters should be taken down within the beginning of the lunch on Saturday, 7 June. Posters left behind will be removed and discarded by the venue personnel.
